Product Guide
MacroArk brings your food log, nutrition targets and body-weight progress together. Start with daily tracking, then use your history to understand your routine and how your targets change.
Getting started
Sign in with Google or an email verification code. During setup, enter your own calorie and macro targets or use the calculator for a starting suggestion. Macros are protein, carbohydrate and fat. You can skip goals for now and return to them in Settings.
Today is your daily starting point. History, Analytics, Coaching and Settings are always in the main navigation.
Log what you eat
On Today, search for a food, scan or type a packaged food's barcode, or use Quick add when you already know the nutrition values. Adjust portions and group foods into meals. Your daily totals show calories and macros alongside your targets. You can edit entries or undo a deletion.
Optional AI estimate and Simple Mode work from a typed description of what you ate. Simple Mode lets you review individual foods, change quantities and remove items before adding the meal. Estimates need checking; availability depends on the service and an internet connection.
Reuse foods and meals
Recent, Frequent and Favourites make repeat logging quicker. Open Food Library from Today to create private custom foods or save foods you use regularly. Save a combination as a meal to log it again later, or copy a past meal from History to Today.
Food Library also imports recipes from supported web pages. Review imported values and fill in missing nutrition before saving.
Set targets around your routine
Settings brings together your details, goals and nutrition plan. Choose daily targets or limits for calories and macros, and set a water goal to track drinks on Today. You can also record fibre and other nutrients where food values are available.
If you train, an optional plan sets protein-first macros and can distribute calories and carbs across training and rest days. When your schedule changes, switch today's day type on Today. These settings help plan your nutrition around training.
Review your progress
Log a weigh-in on Today. Use History to browse previous days and enter weight, body measurements or steps manually. Analytics shows nutrition, weight and activity trends over your chosen dates, including how consistently you logged and met your targets.
With enough food and weight data, expenditure estimates help put your calorie needs in context. Trends and goal projections are estimates based on your records.
Understand coaching and share a snapshot
Choose Coached for weekly calorie and macro adjustments, Collaborative for calorie adjustments that retain your macro split, or Manual to change targets yourself. Coaching explains completed adjustments and shows your target history.
From Analytics, create an expiring Coach Share link for a past period. Anyone with the link can read that snapshot without an account. It stays fixed when your logs change, and you can revoke the link in Settings. Detailed food and meal entries are not included.
Manage your app and data
Settings includes units, timezone, optional browser reminders, data download and account deletion. You can install MacroArk from a supported browser for easier access.
If you lose connection with Today open, new standard food logs can queue for syncing when you reconnect with the app open. The offline view shows up to seven cached days of nutrition logs. Editing and most other actions need internet.
